Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is a good relationship. Falling in love is the easy part. Staying married or in a committed relationship requires healthy relationship skills.
The PAIRS Preview presentations will discuss the dynamics of a relationship, and introduce the most important relationship skill for reducing tension and creating a space for love. You will become familiar with the psycho-educational format, learn about the breadth of PAIRS and talk to recent graduates. Cost for the preview is $25 person, due two days prior to event and deductible from any PAIRS course in which you enroll.
PAIRS courses teach relationship tools in a group educational setting. Communication, conflict resolution, self-understanding, compassion and intimacy are the five building blocks in relationships. The PAIRS tools are useful at any stage of a relationship: whether you are happy or distressed in your relationship or whether you are single, in a new relationship, planning to marry, have been together for a while, or married for a long time.
The previews will be led by Lynn Turner, PHD, LCSW, and other certified PAIRS leaders (see below). For directions or information and/or registration, please call 703-549-0554 Ext. 1.
